Paris Launches Courthouse Square Revitalization Effort

A new volunteer committee in Paris is leading an effort to revitalize storefronts and public spaces around the historic Monroe County Courthouse square.

Committee co-chair Dana Followell said the group hopes to combine facade grants, new planters, and a coordinated farmers-market schedule to bring foot traffic back to the square.

The committee will hold its first public meeting Thursday evening at the Paris Community Building and is seeking volunteers.
