Audrain County grain elevators are reporting cash soybean bids above $10.50 per bushel this week, giving local producers a favorable outlook ahead of what extension agronomists say could be an above-average yield.

Mark Hazel of Bunge Mexico said storage space is being secured now. Corn bids are hovering near $4.80 per bushel.

Producers are encouraged to contact their local elevator about forward-contract options before the July 4th holiday.
