Route 54 Resurfacing Project Set to Begin Near Audrain County Line

MoDOT crews are scheduled to begin resurfacing a 6-mile stretch of US Route 54 between Mexico and the Callaway County line starting Monday, June 29.

Motorists should expect lane restrictions and flagging operations weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The $2.1 million project is part of the Governor's Rural Roads program.

The work is expected to wrap up by late August, weather permitting.
