Missouri Military Academy Earns National Academic Excellence Award

Mexico's Missouri Military Academy announced Tuesday it has received the 2026 National Academic Excellence Award from the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States.

Commandant Colonel Rick Bremer credited the school's college-prep curriculum and mandatory study periods. All 77 members of this year's graduating class have been accepted to four-year colleges or universities, and the class average ACT score was 24.8.

The Academy, founded in 1889, is one of only a handful of secondary military schools remaining in the United States.
